The best time to photograph your newborn baby is when they under 3 weeks of age – however, my Older Baby photoshoots are designed to capture different stages of your baby’s first year (including First Birthday Cake Smash & Splash sessions). You see, I’m a little bit of a colour addict. I love deep, bold colour. I’m also incredibly influenced by the seasons. Autumn is a huge favourite and so during this season I will use colours that speak Autumn. Greens, rusts, mustard, plum and deep russets. You will see very little baby blue or pink in my galleries.
Crushed berry pink, deep mauves, teals, petrol blue are some of my favourites. I’ll often ask clients to send me a picture of baby in advance so that I can match colours to complement their skin tone.So, if you’re after a minimalist, bright white or pastel photographer, I’m probably not for you. But if you’d like a choice of colour, luscious textures & contrast & depth in your images… I’m your gal.
